Acid Stain
One of the more popular options in decorative concrete finishes is an acid stain. From its artistic old world flare to its universal appeal from an economical standpoint, more and more businesses and homeowners are turning to this as a solution for their coating of choice.

Unlike epoxies, urethanes or other coatings that are applied to the surface, acid stains react with the components within the concrete so there is never a worry about them flaking, peeling or delaminating over time. Through a chemical reaction with the concrete itself, the stain becomes an integrated part of the slab, thus making it a permanent solution.
You can also rest assured that your acid stained floor will truly be unique. That's because the stain reacts differently with each and every floor it's applied to insuring no two floors will ever be identical.
One of the areas a traditional acid stain can be viewed as limited would be in the color options available.
